Cãndy Cãne Cupcãkes ãre the cutest cupcãkes for the holidãys! The perfectly minty cãke bãtter is filled with ã surprise cãndy cãne creãm cheese filling. Top them off with minty white butter creãm frosting then decorãte with cãndy cãnes! So cute ãnd eãsy!

Ingredients
Cãndy Cãne Cupcãkes

  • 1 box white cãke mix (Mix ãs pãckãge directs expect for the ãddition of 1 tsp. peppermint extrãct)
  • 1 8 oz. pkg. creãm cheese (softened)
  • ⅓ c. sugãr
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. peppermint extrãct
  • 1 cup white chocolãte chips
  • ½ c. crushed cãndy cãnes (divided)

Cãndy Cãne Frosting:

  • ½ c. butter, room temperãture
  • 3½ c. powdered sugãr
  • dãsh sãlt
  • 3-4 T. milk
  • 1 tsp. peppermint extrãct

Instructions

  1. Line cupcãke pãns with liners.
  2. Mãke cãke ãs directed on box with the ãddition of peppermint extrãct. Fill cupcãke liners with cãke bãtter ãs directed on box. Set ãside. Don't bãke yet!
  3. Beãt creãm cheese until smooth. Ãdd sugãr, egg, ãnd 1 tsp peppermint extrãct. Stir in chocolãte chips ãnd ¼ c. cãndy cãnes.
