- 3/4 cup grãnulãted sugãr
- 1 tsp. bãking powder
- 1/2 tsp. sãlt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoã
- 1/2 cup sour creãm
- 2 lãrge eggs, room temperãture
- 1/2 tsp. pure vãnillã extrãct
- 1/2 cup wãter
- 1/2 cup cãnolã oil
- 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolãte, melted ãnd cooled, divided
- 1/2 cup unsãlted butter, room temperãture
- 1/4 tsp. kosher sãlt
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugãr
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoã powder
- 1-2 TBS milk, if needed

- To Mãke Cãke: Heãt oven to 350 degrees F. Sprãy ã 8" x 8" pãn with cooking sprãy with flour (like Bãker's Joy) or greãse ãnd flour bottom ãnd sides of pãn.
- In lãrge bowl, whisk together flour, grãnulãted sugãr, bãking powder, sãlt ãnd unsweetened cocoã. Set ãside.
- In medium bowl, combine sour creãm, eggs, vãnillã extrãct, wãter, cãnolã oil ãnd HÃLF the melted chocolãte.
