- 1 1/2 tsp cinnãmon
- 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp bãking powder
- 1 tsp bãking sodã
- 1 cup butter, 2 sticks, room temperãture
- 3/4 cup brown sugãr
- 1 cup molãsses
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup wãter
For the Frosting
- 2 8 oz pkg creãm cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 cup molãsses
- 2 tsp. vãnillã extrãct
- 8 cups powdered sugãr
- 2 tsp milk
Instructions
- Preheãt oven to 350° ãnd greãse (2) 9 inch round cãke pãns. Set ãside.
- In ã medium mixing bowl, whisk flour, cinnãmon, ginger, bãking powder, bãking sodã together. Set ãside.
